How it works?


It helps you to integrate your Volusion store with better Sales Tax Calculations. Taxlity is a middleware, connected with TaxJar & Volusion store. When a customer proceeds to Checkout his/her cart, it triggers a call to Taxlity to get the tax calculated, and it communicates with TaxJar to retrieve the precise tax and then returns to the Volusion store.

Where can I find my all transactions?


All your order transactions are recorded in Taxlity along with order ID from the store. You can find all transactions under the “Transaction menu.” The same transactions will also be reflected in TaxJar.

How to initiate a refund and how much time it will take to reflect in TaxJar?


In “Transaction menu” under the “Completed Tab,” Refund button is available against each order, and there we can initiate the refund request to TaxJar, and it will then process the refund request. Gets reflected immediately once the request is processed.
Sometimes your transactions don’t appear in your TaxJar account immediately it is because of the following reasons: It is possible that TaxJar is experiencing higher than normal volumes of requests at that time. In this event, if you wait a couple of hours, the transactions should appear in your account. However, if you continue to notice missing transactions after a couple of hours, please contact support@taxjar.com

How to reverse a refund and how much time it will take to reflect in TaxJar?


In the “Transaction menu” under the “Refunds Tab” Reverse Refund button is available against each order, and there we can initiate reverse refund request to TaxJar, and it will then process the refund request. Gets reflected immediately once the request is processed.

How to fill an order if it is missing in TaxJar?


No worry if an order is not present in Taxlity & TaxJar. We have an option to backfill all the missing orders. In “Transaction Backfill” page enter the missed order ID and hit the send button to fill the missed order in TaxJar & Taxlity.

How does the delete option in “Transactions” work?


In “Transaction menu” under the “Completed Tab” a Delete button is available against each order, and there we can initiate the delete request to remove the transaction from TaxJar and Taxlity. If this is done the deleted order will not be available in both Taxlity & TaxJar's transaction list.
